Jamtile Company was established in 1984 and after a short break, it was re-operated in 2001. The activity of this complex started with the production of floor tiles and produced tiles in the dimensions of 33 * 33 and 40 * 40. At this date, the production strategy was based on tiles with dimensions less than 40 cm, but from 2003 onwards, the production strategy changed and shifted from quantitative production to quality production. Thus, Jamtile Company started to produce luxury tiles and produced tiles with a specific target community.

Jamtile Company started the production of its products with the participation of the Spanish company Vidres and produces its designs in Iran inspired by the designs of this company. By this strategy and by combining and localizing these designs, the produced products became a completely luxurious and high quality products. At present, tiles in the dimensions of 60 x 60 have been produced and the production perspective of the company in the near future will be directed towards the design of molds with dimensions of 120 x 60.

Production procces

Tile production in jamtile production unit is done in several stages. In all these stages, the quality control department is present and monitors the production. Tile production starts from the crushing unit. At this stage, the used stones are crushed and prepared for the production process. The prepared powders transfer to the grout unit to prepare the initial dough for making the tiles.

In the spray pressing unit, the made slurry shaped under air and pressure and is dried and solidified in a special way. In this way, the initial and raw mold of the product is prepared. But the production process is still halfway through and there is still a long way to go to reach acceptable products. After this stage, the formed tiles are placed in the unit "evaporation of moisture" or "dryer" and lose their internal moisture.
